As a Graphic Designer, I am lucky enough to be able wear whatever I like to work, within reason of course! (Boobs out is a no no for me) My daily wardrobe molds into my work wardrobe and vice versa. Every now and then, I might wear something that looks a little officey with a little edge. For instance, here I've teamed a fairly classic spotty frock with some fishnets, killer shoes and a Vivienne Westwood jacket. Some may say, keep your fishnets for the street but I reckon as long as your not sporting some kind of hooker like tight short skirt, it's ok to give an otherwise safe outfit another dimension.
Have a great weekend, catch you next week!

New scarf top

I'm fairly impulsive when I shop, if a like it, i'll buy it, within reason of course. Shopping criteria: colour, loud, under $30 = yes, you are coming home with me. I've walked by this top many times, located outside my local RedDog3, on a rail marked, 'Everything $29', should I buy it? mmm...Well, the other day I gave in and purchased. When I got home, the fit was a bit boxy so I pinned it with one of my brooches and voila, one fitted, rather loud print top.

All new yellow top and pencil skirt

Let me begin by saying, thank you to my lovely readers who commented on the previous post 'Should I buy this Sportsgirl dress', it was fun to get your insights and how cute was the list! I think I fell in love with the print and agree maybe the cut is not complimentary, that said, I reckon if it went on sale I'd still be tempted ; )
Last week, I bought a couple of new things to add to my Autumnal/Winter wardrobe: this bright yellow top, pencil skirt and a tweed play suit (will show you that later in the week), for the grand total of $55! ASOS how I love thee! All bought on sale with a further 15% off.
A pencil skirt gives me good shape, the stretchy fabric has a lot of give which makes it comfortable too. I adore the origami detail on the front. I've never really worn this colour of yellow before but I love the pop of colour, prepare to see these pieces in rotation.
