I'm loving red at the moment, maybe it's Christmas approaching and I'm feeling festive or maybe I've simply bought a few red pieces lately (a few here!). After 10 years of living in Melbourne, I am finally getting used to Christmas in the sun, santa on a surf board and shrimps on the barbie! Next week, my tree goes up and then the endless list of presents to buy and post, it's a busy time but I do love it. Do you love Christmas or are you a bah humbug?
Santa was very good to me this year and I would like to share with you a small selection of my favourite presents. My little red rain cape from Wet n Wendy is just so adorable, I love and was delighted when the rains came today and I got the chance to take it out, albeit for half an hour before the heat took over; twas very humid today. I love my new colour resin bangles and predict they will feature heavily in my up and coming outfit posts. Red and orange are colours I adore, my new ballet flats and necklace will work well together and perfect additions to my wardrobe. Don't you just love when people get you? What special gifts did Santa bring for you??
Getting into the Christmas spirit with only a week to go. The decorations around my home are making me feel all festive and I've had a few Christmas nights out, thankfully fairly painless with no hangovers. Work is all but over until the New Year, woo hoo! Delighted to receive an early pressie; Alexander McQueen tribute book, wow, amazing, nuff said. Santa can I have that dress on the cover, PLEASE, I've been good x

Christmas in the sun is weird; always will be for a Glasgow lass. While my fellow Glaswegians are buried in blanket of snow I am donning summer wears and picturing Santa on a surf board. Don't get me wrong I do adore the summer weather but would love if I could just wizz back for a wee taste of a white christmas. 5-10 mins would be enough to marvel at the lights of George Square, strut down Buchanan St, jump into Office and grab all their shoes and maybe throw a snowball at a wee ned before dartin back to the heat. However, I remember my last Glesga visit at Christmas time when I got the flu two days into the holiday and spent the duration in bed and just like that I'm home again.

Have called Melbourne home for the past 7 years but was born and razed in a wee town called Cumbernauld, just outside Glasgow, Scotland.
