Maternity black skinny jeans - nearly 7 months and a deco necklace

top: shop in Elwood
jeans: ASOS Maternity
necklace: Gift from my beloved
Python ankle boots: Op Shop
ring: Diva
box bag: Mimco
shades: Vision Direct

I'm just a few days shy of hitting the 7 month mark in my pregnancy, on route to the business end, eek! Starting to feel very big and everyday stuff is becoming just that wee bit harder. Come 7.30 I'm no use to anybody and the couch is my friend.
My wardrobe is limited and I'm slowly getting bored of wearing the same outfits day in day out, time for a new addition...
Bought these black skinny jeans on sale from ASOS Maternity, where else? The belly band is much bigger than my last pair so no need for the constant pull up, bonus! Black skinny jeans will go with pretty much anything, it's time for me to get creative, I feel inspired again, phew.
My beloved bought me this gorgeous necklace which I have been meaning to post on for a while, it's such a great statement piece and works well with the black silhouette.

She's like a rainbow

Lurking in the back of my wardrobe was this rainbow dress from French Connection, turns out it fits over the bump and may just work for the duration of my pregnancy. Reckon I bought it about 6 years ago, thank god I'm a bit of a hoarder! I like to dress like a colour wheel and have been know to wear 10 colours in one sitting.
Found this on you tube, love the song (always makes me smile) and how cute are these illustrations...enjoy!

Op shop shoes

Top: ASOS Maternity
skirt: ASOS
tights: Sportsgirl
belt: Oasis
scarf: Sportsgirl
shoes: Op shop

My shoe collection is vast, however, you would be surprised how many I pick up from Op shops. Last week, I spied these beige leather shoes from Topshop in my local op shop for $8. Sure, my midwife would be telling me to buy a nice pair of flats but these are very sturdy and comfortable and give me just a wee bit of height. Practically brand new with the stickers still on the sole, what a bargain!
I'm a huge fan of tights and so far have managed to get away without buying maternity which normally come in black and more black, yawn. I'm finding the Sportsgirl range reach over my bump without the need to pull up and they come in fabulous colours. These khaki coloured tights make my new op shop shoes pop.
Have a great weekend, till next week.

Casual caped crusader

jeans: ASOS Maternity
top: ASOS
brooch: Gift from my dear friends Jussy and Kymmmy
shoes: Nine West

You may remember the fabulous cape I purchased from Lady Petrova? Well, here's how I've styled it for a more casual look, I mean it's not just gonna sit in my closet waiting for a night out! Now 5 months pregnant, my wardrobe is shrinking but I will be wearing this beauty until I pop and beyond.

Full Tilt Nana

There is nothing more comforting than a cosy scarf round one's neck on a cold and wintry day. Let me introduce you to Full Tilt Nana, not only a fabulous name but a wonderful concept; who doesn't love a handmade bespoke scarf? The brain child behind this store is my dear friend lady Anthea, she crochets each and every one of them and lovingly supplies them by post in the most gorgeous packaging. You choose your own wool or colour or simply purchase online from here. Beanies have also just been added to the range.
Anthea gifted me this beautiful red infinity scarf which is becoming a permanent fixture around my neck, I like to wear it lopped twice or thrice or with a brooch long.
Check out her facebook page for all news Full Tilt Nana.
Have a great long weekend Melbourne and rugg up cause it's gonna be a cold one x

Vivian Ashworth Launch - A Great Gatsby Affair

Exclusive Beauty is Life cruelty free make-up

 Melbourne Milliner Richard Nylon

The invitation read, dress code: Gatsby - the occasion, an evening of opulence to celebrate the opening of Vivian Ashworth Hair and Make-up Salon. Sold!
On a cold Tuesday Melbourne night, my date for the evening, lady Anthea and I perused and schmoozed with the glitterati (wish I had brought my camera, these are some phone shots) the eye candy! The products and accessories on show were impressive and fitting for the theme; the Salon is styled with a 20s vibe in mind. Models paraded in Gwendolynne gowns whilst attending to the ample crowd with Champagne and canapés. It was a lavish affair and so much fun, even if I was on the OJ!
For all you brides out there looking for a one-stop-shop for your special day or simply a lady in need of some pampering I would definitely recommend checking this place out.
Thanks to Kyra at Pybus PR for inviting us to share in this grand affair.
