The weather has been seasonally beautiful and on Friday we took advantage and spent the day in Barwon Heads, about an hours drive from Melbourne. The sea side town houses a plethora of little shops and eateries and is the prefect spot for families or a weekend escape.  We devoured a delicious lunch at Annie's Provedore and perused some local shops before sampling the perfect toddler friendly beach on the shore. A stand out shop for me was Kiitos, hosting the biggest collection of Marrimekko fabrics and homewares in a former, retro style garage on Bridge Rd. The summer dresses and colourful sunnies were simply stunning, I could easily have made a few purchases but unfortunately I need to curb my spending, New York did not come cheap. Maybe next trip!
