Trenched

It's been a while, I know, after my last post about being inspired and all!...All talk and nae action. To be honest, I'm finding it hard to get motivated to post. Trying to come up with new content given my wardrobe has been culled and how many posts can you do in the skinny jeans er, here's another.
My advice to any mum-to-be struggling out there to keep herself stylish, accessorise.
Here, I've gone for head to toe accessories to lift what is a fairly standard preggy uniform; jeans and slouchy/comfy top. The Marcs trench that I picked up from the op shop has been a god send, I can throw it over the top of anything and it makes me feel polished.
Till next time...

The purple wall and a friendly face

On my way back from lunch today, I spotted this purple wall. I do like to colour co-ordinate with my surroundings, ha. You may recognise this wall, it used to look like this, maybe this could be a regular spot, who knows what will end up here next. How perfect a backdrop for today's outfit post. The sun was also shining, bonus! My buddy at work Beth, has become my very own personal street style photographer, we shoot on our lunch breaks. It's so much easier this way, also I find it's less intimidating than taking to the streets with a tripod. I'm not a natural poser but it helps when you have a friendly face behind the lens. Thank you Beth!

Dear readers, I am having a few technical issues with the pics showing up on the blog, can you see me? If you can't please let me know which device you are viewing on, phone, laptop, browser etc.
After a weekend of sticky uncomfortable heat, Melbourne has been blessed with some rain and a comfortable 20 degree temperature, time to get my favourite trench out.

The right clothes

It's been cold and raining in Melbourne for the last couple of days, we had such a beautiful weekend so I'm not complaining. Winter is nearly behind us for another year, yeh! I've noticed that many people stay indoors in Melbourne when it rains or below 15 degrees. I'm from Glasgow and quite frankly if you didn't go out in the cold and rain you would never leave your house. Billy Connelly once said, "In Scotland, there is no such thing as bad weather - only the wrong clothes." Absabloodyluttely!

Today I wore my favorite trench, brolly and winter woollies and I'm took the plunge and heading outside.
