Refashioned frock into Winter

This week I have found myself gravitating towards dark hues; maybe it's the cold weather snap that we Melbournians are currently enduring or the bad head cold that I have been nursing. This little frock I refashioned in the Spring, you can revisit that post over here. Originally an ill fitting Kate Sylvester dress, I pulled it apart and made it my own. Another recent purchase is the $5 grey skivvy I found in China Town, it's perfect to wear under dresses and I love the turtle neck, cozy.
Next week I'm gonna work some colour back into my winter wardrobe, just you wait and see!

  1. I love breathing life into clothes!!

The other day I bought a jacket from Sussan and promptly ripped the heinous vinyl binding and paddington coat buttons off it... need to go to spotlight and buy replacements.

It's going to look SO much better once I'm finished with it!

  2. STAR-STRUKK... It looks great! My heap of things that need to be modified to look good (or at least better) is getting bigger and bigger.

  3. A very cool dress. I basically wear the same things all year round, but with different accessories, layers etc
